We are delighted to announce that two of our W6 students have not only been offered a place at Oxford, but they have achieved the results to get them there. As results have come through, it has been confirmed that Sarah James-Short and Shaun Miskelly have achieved the grades required to get to the world’s top 5 university, Oxford, to study History and History of Art.
Both Shaun and Sarah topped the table with AAA and AAB A-level results, an excellent outcome in anyone’s book.
We are overjoyed by the success of all of our students at W6, and Sarah and Shaun are an outstanding example of what can be achieved with hard work, a positive attitude and of course some raw talent.
We congratulate all our students for their results and look forward to seeing what they achieve in their next steps of their education.
Mark Monahan, Assistant Principal and Head of W6 commented “This is an excellent outcome. Sarah and Shaun have worked so hard for this and it is no surprise to me at all that they have made it to Oxford. I am so pleased for them and all the teachers who have supported them in getting there.”
