To help keeping education affordable, we have partnered with Freedom Tech to provide a low cost laptop scheme for W6 students. This allows you to buy and pay for a super sleek and affordable laptop while at W6 for a competitive low price, with full insurance for two years You can access the purchase portal here: Tech4Leaners Username: SRWA2018 Password: Welcome01 There are three devices to choose from ranging in cost from £15 per month up to £19 per month, with the cost spread across 2 years for year 12 students and 12 months for year 13 students.  All devices come with 24 months' insurance as standard and this includes full theft and damage replacement with no excess for any claim.  The devices are Chromebooks, so run on the Chrome operating system which allows stude

Have you enrolled? It was great to see so many of you yesterday on results day. We were so pleased to say yes and welcome so many students into W6 for 2018. If you have had not spoken with us yet, there is still time. Students and staff at W6 Sixth Form at SRWA, a member of the Woodard Academies Trust, are today celebrating yet another set of great results. The Academy is overjoyed with the result of two students being successfully placed at Oxford to read History and History of Art. Shaun Miskelly and Sarah James-Short topped the tables with results of AAA and AAB, gaining them access to one of the world’s top 5 universities. When asked about his success Shaun remarked “It’s so surreal. I feel like I need to wake up for the reality of it to sink in! ”. Sarah added “I was awake at 5.30am. I logged in to UCAS at 7.30 this morning to check. I really didn’t think I’d get in!” Students on vocational courses continued the trend of excellent results, with over 34 students awarded grades of Distinction

We are delighted to announce that two of our W6 students have not only been offered a place at Oxford, but they have achieved the results to get them there. As results have come through, it has been confirmed that Sarah James-Short and Shaun Miskelly have achieved the grades required to get to the world's top 5 university, Oxford, to study History and History of Art. Both Shaun and Sarah topped the table with AAA and AAB A-level results, an excellent outcome in anyone's book. We are overjoyed by the success of all of our students at W6, and Sarah and Shaun are an outstanding example of what can be achieved with hard work, a positive attitude and of course some raw talent. We congratulate all our students for their results and look forward to seeing what they achieve in their next steps...
